Supervision
Offering both clinical supervision and academic mentoring for trainees, newly-qualified and experienced counsellors and therapists based in schools, colleges and private practice. I am currently working with students at CPPD Counselling School and Metanoia.
Therapists Business Mentoring
Helping counsellors and therapists grow a thriving private practice of their dreams, creating financial stability and long-term career satisfaction.
My collaborative, bespoke treatment planning and specialist training gets results. Many clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
I use a targeted approach to set appropriate goals for your therapy, and importantly this helps to signal when the therapy is over. This saves you time and money, as well as helping you feel better faster.
Together, we can look at the recurring patterns in your life and find a way forward.
I can offer you a safe, confidential and non- judgemental space where you can achieve lasting personal change.
I always aim to deliver care with warmth, understanding and empathy. I start with a thorough clinical assessment, after which I collaborate with clients to formalate a bespoke treatment plan including practical management techniques.
I work flexibly and creatively to help you find ways to manage and overcome difficulties with a variety of approaches.
I have worked with many trainees, newly-qualified and experienced counsellors and therapists based in schools, colleges and private practice. I have supported supervisees from their first client sessions to qualification, setting up their own private practice and beyond.
Some of my supervisees have passed their academic essays and case studies with distinctions, and I am very proud of their achievements. Here’s what some students have said about my sessions:
“The non-judgemental, constructive feedback I receive from you reinforces my confidence, helping me to internalise the compassionate approach I strive to offer my clients. I find a secure space for reflection and development, a space I am inspired to recreate for my clients, enabling them to grow.”
“Thank you for your insightful guidance. I really appreciate all the work that I've done with you so far in supervision. I find it really beneficial.”
I spent most of my teens and early adulthood struggling with low self-esteem and feeling like I didn’t fit in, battling with anxiety and masking to cover up what people described as my “oversensitivity” and “hypochondria”.
That was until I was mugged and found myself in a counselling session with suspected PTSD. I was one of those people who thought, “Why would I ever need counselling? I’m fine?” But there I was…
Needless to say, I found my sessions life changing. I learnt how to manage anxiety, harness my emotions and channel my energy in productive ways, excelling in my job as a digital content producer for the BBC and feeling more connected to people.
When working face-to-face, I am based in Barnet in North London (EN5), which is easy to reach by public transport from the surrounding areas of Muswell Hill, Barnet, Hertfordshire, Oakleigh Park, Southgate, Finchley, Enfield and Cockfosters.
It is a 15-minute walk from Totteridge and Whetstone or High Barnet tube station on the Northern line (High Barnet branch), and the 326, 389, 234, 263, 34, 307, 384 bus stop is 2 minutes away. There is free parking on my road and surrounding roads. My consulting room in Barnet is on the ground floor.
Fees: £75 for individual sessions, £100 for couples
Counselling sessions for individuals last 50 minutes, usually taking place on a weekly basis, and cost £75 per session and £100 for a one hour couple session. I also provide a limited number of spaces for those on low-income or for students; contact me to enquire about availability.
I can accept clients with BUPA, AXA and Aviva insurance.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
You can also call me on +44 020 8106 4767 if you would prefer to leave a message or speak to me first. I am happy to discuss any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment.
